The Long Overdue varnishing has been long overdue for quite a while now
But as it’s still too cold for sailing I finally ran out of excuses and got sanding
It makes quite a mess all that sanding – I expect I’ll be clearing up fine dust for months
I also got some new non slip tape – £19 at the chandlers… or £4.67 at Toolstation !
I’ve used quick drying varnish which makes five coats in a day possible – just have to see how durable it turns out to be…
