Also I refuelled in dunkerque on one of those auto ‘put your credit card in’ machines this morning.
€18 worth of fuel but then a text from the bank saying that the fuel company had ‘blocked off’ €527.12 !!!!
Apparently they used to take £1 to verify the card but now it’s normal practice to take anything they like. It will be refunded – so they say – in a couple of days and though they haven’t taken the money, just ‘blocked it off’ it still counts towards your credit limit. If I refuel two or three days in a row it would take me over the limit and get declined!
Will it be the same on the new self service pumps at premier I wonder 🤡

I am with you on this one. The lift at SH was probably amortised over a number of years which, I am sure have expired by now. This should then leave us with a maintenance cost only and more economic lifts. Christine and I completed the recent SH survey. As a result we have been onvited to discuss this and other items. Could be beneficial 🤔😊😊. Enjoy whilst you can
