Up at the crack of 12 midday to catch the tide from Chichester.
The tide was a bit late kicking in as it regularly is. Whoever controls these things should consult the almanacs and get it right!!
I’d forgotten how strong the tide runs over Chichester Bar but we made Brighton in 8 hours which is pretty typical and a pleasant sunny passage.

When we arrived in Brighton, rather cold and tired, the office informed us that we didn’t exist.
There was no record of me as a paid-up berth holder, no record of us visiting Gosport or leaving Chichester that morning, no free Premier nights… nothing!
After explaining that we had no intention of actually paying for the night I left them to sort it out.
Today we walked into Brighton. All very nice and sunny.

Tomorrow Eastbourne and Home.
I’m not too worried about Premier cocking things up but then I haven’t tried to use an ATM yet, and if I get home to find someone else living in my flat….
The homecoming seems as if it could be a little precarious 😂. Hope the ATM is ok.
